NIPT at Bumpkins

NIPT provides expectant parents the latest in antenatal screening technology to identify the risk of genetic conditions during pregnancy.

The test is performed using a simple blood test from the mother and with no risk to your unborn baby in comparison to one of the 'next step' diagnostic tests such as Amniocentesis or Chorionic Villus Sampling. Each test is performed using a simple maternal blood sample taken here at Bumpkins.​

All our NIPT results are communicated directly with you by a medical professional; a genetic counsellor is provided if required.

The Beautiful Setting
We visited for NIPT testing, which was obviously an anxious time for us. We were made to feel really welcome and both the ladies were really lovely. The lady who did our scan put us at ease straight away. It’s a beautiful setting, with a very welcoming interior. It felt nice and homely rather than walking in to a clinic. Thank you.
For the Reassurance
For the NIPT, I was particularly difficult to take a blood test from. Kate did absolutely everything to ensure we got the sample needed. Kate went above and beyond (and way beyond the usual appointment time) to make sure that I was happy. Nothing was too much and both Kate and Faye were understanding of my anxieties and were reassuring.
