At Bumpkins York, we believe pregnancy is a time to slow down, connect and celebrate. We’re not just a scan studio - we’re Yorkshire’s Pregnancy Experience Studio, created to help you make memories, cherish keepsakes and plan your journey in a calm, personal, boutique space.
Founded with the vision of offering something different from a clinical scan appointment, Bumpkins was designed to feel welcoming, personal and special. Over time, we’ve grown from simple bonding scans to a complete experience studio with curated keepsake boxes, handcrafted casting sessions, heartbeat bears and personal concierge support for travel, gifting and pregnancy retreats.
Over the years our clients have frequently told us they're sad when their Bumpkins journey is coming to an end, that it's their "last visit" and wouldn't it be great if we offered various other services and products. Well, we listened and have taken the decision to shift focus to a trimester based approach, pulling together all the various elements we can offer you during a particular trimester.
Yes, we'll still be offering the luxury, boutique scanning experiences we're famous for but now you'll be able to choose whether you opt for our "Signature" entry level options or go for a longer, more keepsake focussed experience for yourselves and family with one of our "Prestige" scan packages.
We believe bonding scans should be intimate and relaxed. Our studio offers private 3D/4D sessions, casting and keepsake gifts, curated pregnancy boxes and calm, beautifully designed spaces where every detail is chosen to make you feel cared for.
The range of blood taking services we offer has been enhanced and divided down into trimesters so you can easily see what is available to you at any given point. This includes a new trimester four offering, focusing on wellness as your body recovers from pregnancy and delivery.
Earlier this year we brought our hand and foot casting service back in house and it's been lovely to see many of our Bumpkins babies returning to have their tiny fingers & toes captured in a moment to treasure forever.
We're super excited about our trimester boxes; we've hand selected products which you won't find everywhere on the UK highstreet. These products are designed to complement & support your needs in any given trimester and will be available stand alone or as a subscription service. They will include a level of personalisation to reflect your choices during pregnancy, delivery and post-natally.
